Jarrett, Wills Selected As Academic All-Americans

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Wednesday that Tennessee track & field standouts Lauren Jarrett and Amelia Wills have been named to the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-America Team, recognizing their combined excellence on the track and in the classroom.
Voted on by CSC members, Jarrett earned Academic All-America Second Team honors, while Wills was selected to the Third Team. Tennessee was one of eight Division I programs with multiple honorees, and the duo becomes the 20th and 21st women's Academic All-Americans in program history.
Jarrett arrived at Tennessee in the fall of 2025 following a standout three-year career at Wisconsin-La Crosse. From 2023–25, she captured nine individual and relay NCAA Division III national titles, earned 14 All-America honors and set Division III all-time records in the 60-meter dash (7.29) and 100-meter dash (11.23).
In her lone season on Rocky Top, Jarrett earned a pair of outdoor All-America honors, including first-team recognition as the leadoff leg on Tennessee's 4x100-meter relay that placed fifth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in a school-record time of 42.40.
That same relay group earned bronze at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a time of 42.77, while Jarrett finished fifth in the conference 100-meter final at 11.15. During the outdoor regular season, she established a personal-best time of 11.06 in the 100-meter dash, which ranks fourth on Tennessee's all-time list.
Jarrett is now a three-time CSC Academic All-American after earning second- and first-team honors at the NCAA Division III level in 2024 and 2025. Pursuing her bachelor's degree in kinesiology, she was recently selected as a recipient of the 2026 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship and named to the 2025-26 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
Wills enjoyed a record-breaking campaign in her debut season at Tennessee, setting the program record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:52.51 at the Duke Twilight on May 3. She finished fifth in her signature event at the 2026 SEC Outdoor Championships before qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships, where she placed 17th in her national championship debut. The graduate student from London, England, also established the ninth-fastest mark in school history in the indoor 3,000-meter with a time of 9:16.58 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic.
Wills is pursuing a master's degree in agricultural leadership, education and communication and was named to the 2025-26 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
