KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The 2026-27 campaign will begin for Tennessee Men's Tennis on Friday with the Vols hosting the Rocky Top Invite from Sept. 18-20.
The event will take place at the Goodfriend Tennis Center, starting at 9 a.m. each day at both the indoor and outdoor venues throughout the invitational.
This marks the first home tournament the Vols have hosted since 2022, when the Knoxville Showdown took place in mid-September.
Admission is free, and paid parking will be available at University Commons during every day of the tournament. Parking also will be available on Friday and Sunday at the G7 garage, located beside Barksdale Stadium.
The invite will feature four Vols, including Adrien "AJ" Abarca, Martin Doskocil, Shion Itsusaki and Woodson McMillin.

Consistent with standard college fall tennis protocol, no team results will be available from the competition this weekend or for the remainder of the fall slate. Individuals will still be credited with wins/losses throughout fall action.

UT will debut some of their match day gear, participating in adidas for the first time since the partnership was announced earlier this summer.
ROCKY TOP DEBUT
The Vols return four players and welcome six newcomers to the University of Tennessee. Two members participating in the invitational are newcomers, Abarca and Doskocil, marking the first time they will see action in NCAA Division I tennis. Itsusaki played mainly at court five last season, while McMillin was a member of the team at doubles court three a year ago.
