DUAL MEET RECAP
- Was a mid-year enrollee at Tennessee, seeing action in a couple of meets.
- Finished the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.80 against Georgia (1/23/21).
- Made her Tennessee debut in UT's victory against Kentucky (1/14/21).
PRIOR TO TENNESSEE
- Competed at Cal during her freshman and sophomore seasons in 2018-19 and 2019-20, redshirting in the latter.
- Tabbed CSCAA All-America honorable mention after scoring points for the Bears in the 200 fly at the 2019 NCAA Championships, finishing 15th with a time of 1:55.77.
- Member of the U.S. National Swim Team from 2015-18.
- Rated the No. 5 recruit in the country by SwimSwam.com.
- Was a state champion four years in a row (2014-18) in the 200 Individual medley out of West Potomac High School and also holds the state record in the event (1:58.21).
- Placed third in the 200 butterfly (2:07.97) and fourth in the 100 butterfly (58.11) at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials.
- Runner-up in the 200 fly at the 2015 Phillips 66 National Championships.
- Swam for Nation’s Capital Swim Club.

- Cassidy Bayer was born in Alexandria, Va. on September 9, 1999.
- Majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Journalism and Electronic Media.
- Bayer is open on social media about her diagnosed eating disorder and ways in which she is pursuing recovery to stick with the sport of swimming.
