#23 Lady Vols Enter Final Round At Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship In Second

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The No. 23 Tennessee women's golf team is in second place after two rounds of play at the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship.
As a team, the Lady Vols hot 2-over in round two and are 2-under overall heading into Tuesday's final round. UT is three shots behind Oregon State.
Tennessee seniors Manassanan Chotikabhukkana and Lauren Nguyen each enter the final round tied for fourth after second-round surges.
Chotikabhukkana fired a 4-under 67 in round two, which led the Big Orange on Monday.
Nguyen, who is competing individually, carded her second consecutive par or lower round with a 3-under 68.
Freshman Madison Messimer sits in seventh place at 2-under going into the final day. Messimer paced the Big Orange in round one with a 68.
Thitikarn Thapasit, a true freshman, enters day three one shot outside the top 25 at 2-over.
Martina Lopez-Lanchares is 5-over through 36 holes and is currently tied for 36th.
The final member of Tennessee's lineup, Sophie Christopher, is tied for 45th.
