#8 Lady Vols Secure Third Place to Cap CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge; #9 Vols Take Second Place

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee swimming team closed out the final day of the CSCAA Dual Meet Challenge on Sunday at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. The #8 Lady Vols earned a 35-21 dual win over #18 Arizona State to earn third place overall, while the #9 Vols dropped the Championship meet to #2 Arizona State, 19-37, to finish in second place.
Camille Spink and Ella Jansen got action started with a 1-2 finish in the 200 Free. Spink finished with a time of 1:42.57, while Jansen came in with a 1:42.62 to set the fifth-fastest time in program history. Spink also earned a win in the 100 Free, checking in with a 46.70. Jansen also earned a win in the 200 Fly, finishing the event with a 1:54.85. Emily Brown notched a pair of wins on Sunday, taking 200 IM and the 500 Free.
McKenzie Siroky got the first place finish in the 100 Breast, getting the win on a sub 1-minute time of 59.49. Emily Armen picked up a win in the 50 Free, while also helping the 200 Free Relay team along with Julianna Bocska, Julia Burroughs, and Jillian Crooks top a victory with a time of 1:29.64. Emelie Fast closed out her weekend at the pool with another win in the 200 Breast, adding a third place in the 100 Breast.
On the men's side, Nikoli Blackman was a part of two top ten times on Sunday. His first came in the 200 Free, improving his No. 3 overall time with a 1:31.41. Blackman was also a member of the 200 Free Relay team with Gui Caribe, Pedro Sansone, and Ben Bricca that set the eight-fastest time on the men's side of 1:16.35. Sansone got in on the top 10 action, moving up to fifth all-time in the 100 Free at 41.83.
Koby Bujak-Upton closed out his weekend with another win in the 500 Free, his third win in the event of the Dual Meet Challenge touching the wall with a time of 4:17.90. Martin Espernberger and Aidan Hill each earned podium finishes in the 200 Fly, taking first and second place. Anthony Laurito picked up another win in the 200 IM this weekend, finishing the event with a 1:45.29. Laurito also had a second place in the 200 Back, finishing with a 1:42.42.

- Gabe Nunziata tallied two top three finishes on the final day of the Dual Meet Challenge. Nunziata first earned second in the 100 Breast, before following it up with third in the 200 Breast.
- Ulises Saravia came in second in the 100 Back, finishing the event with a 46.12.
- Ben Bricca picked up a pair of third place finishes on Sunday. His first came in the 100 Back, before capping his individual day with third in the 200 Back.
- Jake McCoy ended his weekend with a third place finish in the 200 IM, ending the race with a time of 1:45.78.
Women's Results
- Simone Moll got another podium finish on the weekend, clocking a time 59.74 in the 100 Breast.
- Lilly Daley got herself a second place in the 50 Free, putting up a time of 22.88.
- Julianna Bocska also finished in second place in the 100 Free, touching the wall at 48.96.
- Alyssa Claborn took third place in the 100 Back, finishing the race with a 53.68.
- Sophie Brison was back in action on Sunday in the 200 Breast, earning herself a third place finish.
