After finishing his All-American career with the Vols in 2013, Ed Walsh is back with the program as a volunteer assistant coach.
Walsh, a sprint freestyler, proved an integral part of Tennessee relays and earned eight All-America honors during his four years at UT. He was part of four SEC medal-winning relays.
The London native enjoyed his finest season as a senior in 2012-13. He made the A final in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle at the SEC Championships.
As a senior, Walsh also picked up his most academic honors. He was a CSCAA Academic All-American and was on the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
In addition to his new duties with the UT swimming and diving program, Walsh also works with the masters program with Tennessee Aquatics.
